- Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II required
- Integrated Physics/Chemistry (IPC), Biology, Chemistry required
(IPC will count for a science credit for the distinguished and general diplomas in 2010 and for the general diploma for the class of 2011 and later. Distinguished diploma students will NOT be able to count IPC as one of the 4 required credits for science beginning in 2011 and later.)
- 10 hours of community service per year of attendance are required beyond required service hours that are part of the school’s annual calendar (Incorporated into Portfolio assessment).
*The portfolio credit requirement for the class of 2010 and following is 2.0. Students have the option of receiving the Distinguished Diploma or the General Diploma. Approved high school courses taken in an accredited summer school or in eighth grade will count toward the total number of credits required for graduation, however will not be calculated into the cumulative GPA.
Note: To graduate with a Distinguished AP designation, students must:
- successfully complete four Advanced Placement/Honors/Concurrent Enrollment Courses
- successfully complete Pre Calculus and a second year science course (Ex: Biology II or Chemistry II)
- successfully complete a third year of foreign language
Advanced Placement/Honors/and or dual credit courses are offered in Math, English, US History, Chemistry, Government, & Economics.
