Dress Code

It is the desire of Brenham Christian Academy that students live and conduct themselves in a manner that will be pleasing to God and honoring to Christ. The physical appearance of the students is an essential element in the development of personal responsibility and positive self-image. Standards for appearance are a means of building character and distinction in the lives of students. The code is not intended to measure spirituality but to serve as a tool to accomplish the following:

  1. Create an atmosphere free from distractions;
  2. Build character that exhibits self-discipline, modesty, cleanliness, and submission;
  3. Inspire the making of responsible choices.

Students at BCA will wear the uniform syle code on school days and on any school-sponsored trips or events (with special exceptions permitted by the principal). The selections for the approved uniform dress code will be published annually, with periodic adjustments made throughout the school year as needed.
