The Brenham Christian Academy School Board is the governing board of directors who serve as the spiritual leaders of our school. The school board is concerned with policy making, the financial management of the school’s annual budget, and provides the overall direction of the school.

Comprised of Christian men and women, active leaders in their own professions, businesses, and churches each exemplifies the Biblical model of leader/servant by giving many hours each month to serve as a board member of Brenham Christian Academy. Each takes seriously the role of godly parenting and nurturing their children in the admonition of the Lord, and each is committed to excellence in Christian education.

The functions of the Board of Directors are to:

    A. PLAN through stewarding the vision and development of the master plan;

    B. MANAGE the formation of all governing policy;

    C. DIRECT the financial budget and fundraising activities;

    D. SERVE school functions through full participation.

    E. OTHER general duties include:

      1. Development

      2. Public Relations

      3. Finance

      4. Nominating

      5. Property

      6. Building

The Board of Directors’ meetings are held monthly. In addition to the voting members of the board, the schools’ administrators and development directors attend board meeting, retreats, and activities. All serve as leaders in the school and are available and eager to listen and talk to parents regarding matters of policy and governance. For anything that concerns children, parents should always begin with the classroom teacher. As a school family, there are well-established lines of communication and a governing structure to serve the various dynamic needs and energies of our growing enrollment. Please see our flow chart in the Appendix for our established lines of communication and authority..
